The Bay Journal recently quoted Managing Shareholder Alan Lescht in an article about the local effects of massive layoffs at the National Park Service. Lauren Hines-Acosta wrote the article, titled “National parks in Chesapeake Bay region weakened by staff cuts.” Regarding the legality of the layoffs, Alan said: “Any [agency] can do [reductions in force], as long as they work within the parameters of the rules that we have.”
