Navy paid to settle EEO discrimination & retaliation case

The agency hired our client as a Human Resources Specialist.  During her probationary period, our client filed an EEO complaint against one of her supervisors.  On the day that the supervisor learned about the EEO complaint, our client was fired for alleged performance issues.  After we filed an appeal with the EEOC Office of Federal Operations, the agency agreed to settle the case for significant monetary damages.
