Our clients were U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers. They received notices of proposed removal for unprofessional behavior and lack of candor. In response, we argued that the USCBP investigators relied on coercive tactics when they interviewed our clients. We also submitted detailed declarations to correct and clarify the record. The deciding official was persuaded by our arguments and did not sustain any of the charges against our clients.
