Al-Saffy v. USDA

We convinced the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to overturn a trial court’s decision that granted summary judgment in favor of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on our client’s claims of discrimination based on religion and national origin as well as retaliation. Our successful appeal resulted in a $382,500 settlement to compensate our client for attorney’s fees, back pay, and compensatory damages.  Al-Saffy v.
