Case SUMMARY

Army employee obtained Top Secret clearance

After a long career with another federal agency, our client accepted a job with the U.S. Department of the Army.  The client applied for a Top Secret security clearance.  The government issued a Notice of Intent to Revoke the client’s eligibility to access Classified Information.  The Statement of Reasons included five charges of personal conduct and five charges of misuse of information technology.

We submitted a detailed written response to the Notice of Intent.  The response included an argument against each of the charges.  We also submitted 16 letters of support with the response.  Based on the response we submitted, the government granted our client a Top Secret clearance.
