Experienced California Federal Employee Attorneys
We successfully represented an employee of the Department of the Interior who had received a proposal to demote him and transfer him to a location hundreds of miles from his residence. After filing an appeal with the MSPB, we learned that the agency had not demoted another employee who had committed an offense far worse than that committed by our client. When we pointed this out to the agency, it rescinded the demotion, reinstated the employee to his former position and restored all of his back pay.
When you retain our firm to represent you, Alan Lescht and his team of attorneys will thoroughly investigate the facts surrounding your case. We will then choose an appropriate legal strategy. Usually, this will involve a response to the proposal for an adverse action. Often, we have been able to obtain results for our clients at the response stage, by presenting evidence that disproves the employer's allegations. If necessary, we are prepared to represent you in a full hearing before the MSPB, or in a subsequent appeal in federal court.
