We represented a federal employee who was placed on a performance improvement plan and terminated after she requested a reasonable accommodation. Following the termination, our client’s medical condition worsened to the point that she could no longer work even with an accommodation. After we filed a complaint in federal court, we negotiated a significant monetary settlement.
