Case SUMMARY

Jane Doe v. U.S. Department of State

Our client filed an EEO complaint, alleging that the agency retaliated against her by not offering her an extended professional associates position through a program designed to create employment opportunities for eligible employee family members.  The agency found that our client was not an employee or applicant for a position and dismissed her complaint.  We filed an appeal with the EEOC Office of Federal Operations (OFO).  Based on our appeal, the OFO reinstated our client’s complaint.
