Riya Chhabra is a recent graduate of the College of William and Mary, where she graduated with degrees in Government and Psychology. Her academic interests include criminal justice reform, United States Supreme Court case law, and American politics. Previously, Riya interned at Evergreen Strategy Group and the Death Penalty Information Center. During college, Riya served as the Vice Chair of the Conduct and Honor Advisory Program (CHAP), where she helped her peers navigate the College’s complex disciplinary process. She also engaged in extensive diversity work as her sorority’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair as well as a Diversity Fellow for the Government Department. She hopes to attend law school in the near future so she can further pursue her passion of helping people in need.
In her free time, Riya enjoys cooking, reading novels, and exploring DC.
