Paralegal Pedro Salvador Guerrero assists the firm’s attorneys by performing legal research, drafting filings, and providing litigation support in employment matters. Prior to joining Alan Lescht and Associates, Pedro worked for other firms in the Washington, DC area as a paralegal, drafter, and legal writer. He also supported remote litigation teams by preparing petitions, briefs, motions, and evidentiary filings in employment-based and humanitarian immigration matters.
Before relocating to the United States, Pedro held several legal and policy positions in the Mexican federal government. He coordinated legislative analyses, agreements, and legal opinions on policies affecting children, immigrants, and other populations in vulnerable situations. He also drafted plenary resolutions on political and electoral human rights.
Pedro earned his bachelor’s degree in law from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City, and he is completing a master’s in administrative law at Universidad Panamericana. Outside the office, Pedro is an active choral singer and volunteers with local civic and community organizations.
