Senior Counsel Jenny Knopinski is a seasoned employment attorney with extensive experience in federal personnel law, administrative litigation, and labor relations, including practice before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She has expertise in a wide range of employment issues, including workplace harassment and discrimination, whistleblower claims, reasonable accommodation requests, and performance and disciplinary actions. Jenny is dedicated to guiding clients through difficult and complex employment situations, providing them with dynamic representation in litigation, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Before joining Alan Lescht and Associates, P.C., Jenny served 18 years in federal service, most recently as Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Personnel Law and Administrative Litigation at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where she led a team of attorneys advising on employment and labor matters and representing the agency in administrative litigation.
Jenny earned her law degree from American University Washington College of Law and her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is admitted to practice in Virginia.
