Associate Attorney Caroline Perris represents clients in cases involving various types of employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, and hostile work environment.
Prior to joining Alan Lescht and Associates, P.C., Caroline completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Barbara J. Rothstein at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, where she drafted opinions for a diverse federal docket.
Before that, she was a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where she worked on a wide range of civil and criminal cases. She was also selected for a specialized unit that reviewed appeals for the purpose of determining appellate jurisdiction.
Caroline graduated Order of the Coif from UC Davis School of Law. As a law student, she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Social Justice Law Review. She gained valuable experience advocating on behalf of clients while participating in the Workers’ Rights Clinic and Immigration Law Clinic. She also externed with Disability Rights California and worked as a summer law clerk with Legal Aid at Work, an organization that advocates for workers through impact litigation.
Prior to law school, Caroline worked as a paralegal for Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, where she provided legal services to asylum seekers at various detention centers in Texas. She graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound, earning a degree in Spanish and International Political Economy.
