Hospital Accused Of Requiring Employees To Work Through Meal Breaks

A Pennsylvania hospital chain has been hit with a FLSA lawsuit accusing it of requiring employees to work through their unpaid meal breaks without pay. The plaintiffs are current and former employees of the hospital who worked more than 40 hours per week and allege that they did not receive overtime pay for the work they performed during their unpaid meal breaks.

Many companies have unpaid meal break policies. If you work for a company that automatically deducts time for unpaid meal breaks or rest periods but requires you to work during that time, you may be entitled to damages and should call the employment lawyers at Alan Lescht and Associates, P.C., for a free phone consultation to go over your case.
